Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ version 4 is released - here's how to update
The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ team is delighted to be able to reveal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ version 4 - featuring an all-round design refresh, plus new smartphone apps, making it even easier to fit in the all-important Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ time!
Here's a sneak peek some of the new screens:
New iPhone App
The ability to use Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ on smartphones is a feature we've wanted to provide for some time, recognising that it would make Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ much more transportable and greatly increase the opportunities for little learners to fit in Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ time.
However, the iPhone's screen size was previously slightly too small to use Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ on, but with the new iPhone 6 and 7's and their bigger "Plus" cousins the time as right to bring Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ to the iPhone in addition to Android phones.
So there's time for a few lessons even when you're beyond the reach of the WIFI - such as during the school run !
New Windows and Mac Apps for computers
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ will still be available to use on our website but we've also introduced two new Apps ( programs ) for Windows and Mac computers.
We're encouraging anyone using Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ on computers to download and install the new App to ensure a better user experience.
(This is the technical bit - the browser version of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ uses Adobe Flash Player to play Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ. In January 2017 the browser companies will make it harder to use Flash player in browsers. You can still use it, but you have to install and manage it yourself - and this can be tricky. Our new Win and Mac apps don't need Flash.)
We've supplied full step-by-step instructions to make this switch easy.
